Passed away on May 16, 2017.



Loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend. She was born August 18, 1930 to Alfred Lanning and Mercedes Boyce Lanning, the youngest of 4 siblings.



She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Fred, Bernard and Earl Lanning.



Annabelle is survived by her husband, Neil Lawrence; two children: David (Kathy) Lawrence and Sherry (David) Whitehead; 4 grandsons: Chris and Jamie Lawrence, Brent and Connor Whitehead; and other close relatives and friends.

Annabelle attended Hendersonville High School and David Lipscomb College. She was a very active member of the Vultee Church of Christ, teaching classes for children and ladies, as well as serving as a missionary in Sierra Leone, West Africa. She was president of Las Damas de Baxter for many years raising funds for a Bible School in Honduras.



Visitation will be held from four o' clock in the evening until eight on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Woodlawn. Funeral Service will be held at ten o' clock in the morning on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with visitation one hour prior.
