Mildred Hines Age 91, passed away peacefully with family members present .Saturday August 5 at Lakeshore at the Meadows. She was born to the late Fred Lee and Nettie (Bruce) Hines May 16, 1926 in Nashville. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Fred Leon (Bubba) Hines, and his spouse, Mildred P. Hines. She is survived by her brother Tommy Hines (Betty) of Vestavia Hills, AL, nieces Susan Hines Sutton (Mike) of Plano , TX, Lisa Gayle Hines Henry (Gary) of Pegram, TN, nephews Mike Hines (Terry) and Greg Hines (Jan) of...

Mildred Hines Age 91, passed away peacefully with family members present .Saturday August 5 at Lakeshore at the Meadows. She was born to the late Fred Lee and Nettie (Bruce) Hines May 16, 1926 in Nashville. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Fred Leon (Bubba) Hines, and his spouse, Mildred P. Hines. She is survived by her brother Tommy Hines (Betty) of Vestavia Hills, AL, nieces Susan Hines Sutton (Mike) of Plano , TX, Lisa Gayle Hines Henry (Gary) of Pegram, TN, nephews Mike Hines (Terry) and Greg Hines (Jan) of Nashville and Steve Hines (Leigh Ann) of Hoover, AL. After graduating from Cohn High in 1944 she began a fifty year insurance career at Life and Casualty Ins. Co. She was active in the USO during World War11. Music was her great passion and she loved to sing the old songs. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Visitation Thursday August 10th from eleven o’clock in the morning until one o’clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn-Roesch Patton Funeral Home.Funeral to begin at one o’clock in the afternoon in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall, Greg Hines to officiate.
